Meet the Crew

Lazy Acres Dog Resort is owned and operated by Richard Huffman, who has 25 years in animal care. Richard was the NOAH Shelter’s top volunteer for 2021 and the top foster parent for 2022. Richard had volunteered more than 5,000 hours for NOAH since 2018, and has fostered almost 200 cats, dogs, puppies and kittens since March of 2020.

Assisting Richard is Grampa Chuck, who is a true dog whisperer. Harvey, the happiest boy ever, is the Lazy Acres Ambassador and friend to all doggies. Our goat, Mike, and donkeys, Lucy and Ethel, love to have dogs visit them safely through their fence while they are on dog walks.
